The illustrated accordion : Exhibition started today in Kalamazoo BookArts Center in Michigan USA and it will last until June 18. If you have the chance to be in the area, go and visit it. There are so many different accordion books to discover. And if you do not have this opportunity, visit the exhibition on line.
This series of pictures shows the process I used to make this little accordion book. It left for the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center in Michigan. It will be part of an international exhibition taking place there from April 9 to June 18, 2021.
Each year, the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center (KBAC) sponsors a non-juried exhibition The Illustrated Accordion, presented at the KBAC Gallery in late spring. Open to all emerging and established artists, this exhibition focuses on books created in accordion form.
