Waiting for spring !
When I took this photo in St. Petersburg, I did not know how I would use it. I love roads. They mean wandering, adventure, travelling. I transfered my photo onto a background made of another transfer, an old letter written in cyrillic letters that I had beaded on the web. The rest is made of an acrylic wash, decoupage of old papers and stamping. 2009
“Colette, the flowers friend, is visited by birds and butterflies”. This text that I found in an old school book inspired me to make this painting. I realised it onto an old record. Mixed Media techniques: gesso, acrylic, stamping, decoupage, silver foil, vintage button, inprints. 2009
